Cars Brunch Board (An Edible Cars Land You Can Eat)

This Cars brunch board might honestly be one of my favorite boards I’ve ever made.
And that’s saying something.
We’ve already done a Cars snack board, a Cars dinner, and several brunch boards this year – but this one?
This feels like an edible diorama of Cars Land at Disneyland.
Every little detail felt intentional. The road. The signs. The food names. Even the way everything sits on the board feels like Radiator Springs came to brunch.
This is part 4 of my brunch board series, and it’s one I’ll absolutely be remaking.

If you want to recreate this board exactly, here are the pieces that brought it all together. I like to link these early so you can visualize the setup before diving into the food.
- Round wooden serving board
- Road sticker (used to create the “street” for the breakfast cars)
- Donut stand (for Luigi’s Leaning Tower of Donut Tires)
- Fuel cups (the kids LOVED these)

What’s on the Cars Brunch Board

🚗 Car Shaped Breakfast Sandwiches
Jump to RecipeThese were literally PERFECT. If you have been following my cars brunch – I just love a good cars sandwich. We did pulled pork for the dinners, hot dogs for the snack board – so of course I had to bring that energy to this brunch board – and to be honest, I do think they are my favorite of the 3!

I used brioche hot dog buns and filled them with cheesy scrambled eggs. Then I made tiny sausage “wheels” from ground breakfast sausage and secured them with toothpicks. The final touch was adding little character eye picks to turn them into actual cars. I found these printables on etsy, and added them to toothpicks – and they were just the most perfect little detail!
I laid them right on top of the road sticker, and they might be my favorite detail on the board.
Quick how-to:
Scramble eggs low and slow with cheese until soft. Cook small sausage rounds and let them cool slightly. Fill the buns, press the sausage wheels into the sides with toothpicks, and finish with character picks.
Simple. Adorable. Worth the extra five minutes.

🟠 Cozy Cone Breakfast Cones
Jump to RecipeThese are inspired by the Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land, and I’m obsessed with how they turned out.
I made DIY cone molds using cardstock wrapped in foil, then wrapped crescent dough around them and baked until golden. Once cooled, I filled them with crumbled sausage and the same egg-and-cheese mixture from the breakfast sandwiches.
Quick how-to:
Bake crescent dough cones until golden. Remove molds. Fill with eggs, cheese, and sausage. Stand them upright in a dish or holder so they stay nice and tall.
They’re easier than they look and make such a statement on the board.
You can find a more detailed step by step printable recipe card at the bottom of this post!

🚦 Stoplight Fruit Bowls
This might be the simplest idea on the board—and also one of the cutest.
I used:
- Strawberries (red)
- Pineapple (yellow)
- Green grapes (green)
Three small bowls, arranged like a stoplight. That’s it.
Easy, fresh, and totally on theme.

🥞 Flo’s V8 Pancake Stack
Nothing fancy here—and that’s the point.
I used a boxed buttermilk pancake mix (because brunch doesn’t need to be complicated), stacked them high, and topped them with a pat of butter and a little “Flo’s V8 Pancake Special” flag.
Comfort food done right.

🍩 Luigi’s Leaning Tower of Donut Tires
This one was FUN.
I used a donut stand and two sizes of chocolate donuts:
The larger donuts went on the stand as usual, and I used toothpicks to secure the mini donuts in between to create that leaning, stacked look.
This is the third time I have made this leaning tower of donut tires, and the first time I actual used the donut stand, and let me just tell you – it was a game changer! It held the donuts perfectly the entire morning!
It reads instantly as tires – and it’s such a good visual moment.

🥔 Mater’s Taters
Frozen hash brown sticks, baked until crispy.
That’s it.
That’s the whole recipe.
They’re reliable, crowd-pleasing, and perfect for dipping. You can even sub in your favorite hashbrowns, or homemade breakfast potatoes. The beauty of this jig is any tater works!
🛢️ Dip Sticks (Breakfast Sausage)
This was my first time using fresh breakfast sausage from our local butcher, Troubs, and WOW – it was so good.
I served the sausages in a glass and called them Dip Sticks, which might be my favorite name on the board.
My husband and I have been really into eating good, whole whole food, and supporting our local small businesses, and this shop is one of my favorites we have found in Surprise, AZ – I got my TRex tomahawk for our Jurassic Park Movie night from them — and I have 3 new dinners coming to the blog real soon using their prime meat
🥂 Lightning McQueen Mimosas + Fuel Cups
For the mimosas:
- A splash of cranberry juice
- Sparkling water for me
- Sparkling wine for my husband
I garnished each glass with a pineapple lightning bolt.
And for the kids?
Orange juice served in fuel cups, which they absolutely lost their minds over.
Adorable and practical.

Car-Shaped Breakfast Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 4 brioche hot dog buns
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- 8 oz ground breakfast sausage
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for cooking
- Toothpicks
- Car eye picks or printable character toppers
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Add the ground breakfast sausage and cook, breaking it up slightly, until fully cooked. Remove a small portion and form it into small, flat rounds for the “wheels.” Set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Melt a little butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add the eggs and cook gently, stirring often, until softly scrambled. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese so it melts into the eggs.
- Slice each brioche bun down the center, being careful not to cut all the way through. Spoon the cheesy scrambled eggs into each bun.
- Press the sausage wheels into the sides of each bun and secure them with toothpicks.
- Add a car eye pick to the top of each sandwich to bring them to life.
- Serve warm, preferably placed on a “road” for maximum Cars effect.
Notes
- For sturdier wheels, let the sausage rounds cool slightly before attaching.
- These can be assembled shortly before serving, but they’re best warm.
- The same egg-and-cheese mixture can be used for the Cozy Cone Breakfast Cones.

Cozy Cone Breakfast Cones
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 triangles each
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- 8 oz breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Nonstick spray
- Aluminum foil
- Cardstock for shaping cones
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Create cone molds by rolling cardstock into cone shapes, securing with tape. Wrap each cardstock cone completely in aluminum foil, making sure no paper is exposed. Lightly spray the foil with nonstick spray.
- Separate crescent roll dough into triangles. Starting at the wide end, wrap each triangle around a foil-covered cone, overlapping slightly and pinching seams to seal.
- Place cones seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Carefully remove from the oven and let cool slightly before gently twisting and removing the foil cones.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Melt a small amount of butter or oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add eggs and cook gently, stirring often, until softly scrambled. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Stir the cooked sausage into the egg mixture.
- Spoon the filling into each baked crescent cone. If needed, return filled cones to the oven for 2–3 minutes to warm through.
- Serve warm, standing upright for best presentation.
