Every single detail, from the garden veggie tray to the bear-shaped ice cubes, was bursting with charm. Winnie the Pooh is comfort food in character form. He’s soft, warm, loyal, and always hungry, just like me when movie night hits. This meal was inspired by the simple joy of a picnic with friends. And when I looked at the characters, it was clear:

Appetizer: Rabbit’s Garden Veggie Tray with Homemade Ranch

This one started with a vision: I wanted it to look like Rabbit’s actual garden.

We built a vegetable patch on a tray…rows of carrots, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, celery, broccoli, and snap peas arranged in little rainbow-colored rows. The ranch dressing? Served in mini terra cotta pots. We wrapped the whole thing in a mini white picket fence and added a handmade sign that read “Rabbit’s Garden.”

It was charming. It was playful. And yes, it absolutely stole the show. This is one of those cute veggie displays that are going to make your kids say, I want to try that!

Main Course: Christopher Robin’s Picnic Chicken Drumsticks

I imagined what Christopher Robin would pack for an afternoon with Pooh and friends, something easy to carry, simple, and delicious.

We made crispy-skinned, honey-glazed chicken drumsticks served with golden cornbread muffins and whipped honey butter. Every bite felt like comfort food with a hug. If you’re hosting a family movie night, this is your hero dish.

Side Dish: Eeyore’s Cloud Potatoes

Eeyore might be gloomy, but these mashed potatoes were a total joy.

Whipped until light and fluffy, we piped them into little cloud shapes and sprinkled them with chives. No crispy toppings. No unnecessary garnishes. Just warm, soft, buttery comfort food with a tiny moody twist.

Dessert: Hunny Cheesecake Jars (No Bake!)

These jars were pure magic. Layers of honey-swirled cheesecake, crushed Teddy Grahams, whipped cream, and honey drizzle, all packed into mason jars wrapped with custom “HUNNY” labels.

I even topped them with a tiny honey dipper and Teddy Graham bear for the full cuddly bear effect. These are make-ahead friendly and guaranteed to make your guests squeal.

Bonus Dessert: Tigger Tails

Because one dessert is never enough.

These marshmallow pops were dipped in caramel, rolled in orange sanding sugar, and striped with dark chocolate to look like Tigger’s tail. They were bold, sweet, bouncy, and a little bit ridiculous, just like our favorite tiger.

Drink: Sippity Sip, Pooh’s Peachy Picnic (Mocktail or Cocktail)

Originally, we planned to do a smoothie, but this peach honey tea ended up being the perfect drink for our Disney family dinner night.

It’s made with peach herbal tea, peach nectar, honey, and served over ice with a fresh mint sprig and a bear-shaped peach ice cube. You can add a splash of bourbon for the adults or keep it totally kid-friendly. Either way, it’s a drink Pooh himself would sip straight from the pitcher.
