This week’s Jungle Book dinner and a movie night menu features playful twists on Indian-inspired comfort food and Disneyland faves, finished off with a dessert fit for a king (Louie, of course). It’s easy to prep ahead, easy to plate beautifully, and so fun for both kids and grown-ups. Let’s break it down!
Drink: Nectar of the Jungle
Every movie night deserves a signature sip, and the Nectar of the Jungle is as bright and refreshing as the wild jungle itself. This tropical mocktail (or cocktail, if you want to spike it) is bursting with pineapple, orange, and berry flavors, garnished with a big pineapple wedge and pineapple leaves. Serve it over ice in a geometric glass to feel extra fancy, even if you’re just watching Baloo and Mowgli play catch.
Why I love it: It’s kid-friendly but grown-ups can easily add a splash of coconut rum. The colors alone scream “party,” and the fruity flavor is the perfect pairing for all your Jungle Book party food.
Appetizer: Bagheera’s Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus

Main Course: Baloo’s Butter Chicken & Shere Khan’s Naan
The heart of this Jungle Book family dinner is a classic, creamy butter chicken, rich, tomatoey, and spiced just right. It’s inspired by the “bare necessities” of comfort food but given the royal treatment Baloo deserves. Ladle it over fluffy jasmine rice for a dish that will have your family singing with every bite.
