🎬 Stranger Things Snack Board (Movie Night Snack Boards Series)

If there’s one question I get constantly, it’s: “Heather, can you PLEASE make something easy? Like… something for picky eaters?”

And babes… today is the day.
Because I am officially launching my brand-new Movie Night Snack Boards series – snack boards that look wildly over-the-top… but are actually super easy to assemble. No all-day cooking. No five-step glazes. Just vibes, visuals, and pure movie-night magic.

Naturally, we’re kicking things off with the show that took over Target, Walmart, and my entire Pinterest feed: Stranger Things.

And this board is everything.
It’s nostalgic, it’s chaotic, it’s 80s comfort food, and it’s packed with brand-new Stranger Things branded snacks — which made this board so fun to build I almost forgot to hit record. (Almost.)

🍿 ⭐ What I Used for My Stranger Things Snack Board

Here are all the exact items I used. Tap any product to shop it and recreate the board.

Eggo Waffles

A Stranger Things classic. Eleven would approve. I used both – but feel free to use on or the other!

Stranger Things Chips Ahoy Cookies

Talk about a blast from the past – as I child I used to love Chips Ahoy! Cookies – and honestly they still slap, and the throw back packaging just took me right back to my childhood.

Surfer Boy Pizza

I am not generally a frozen pizza fan, but these were actually so so good. I went with the combo – but you can’t go wrong with pepperoni!

Popcorn

The easiest way to fill the board and make everything look intentional. My go to popcorn – Lesser Evil snacks!! Trust me, this popcorn is to die for.

Stranger Things Doritos

I was a little iffy about giving these a try because the reviews were a total mixed bag – but I thought the flavors were delicious. It literally tasted like pizza dipped in ranch!

Scoops Ahoy Demogorgon Sundae

We will link the full strawberry topper recipe in its own post.

Demogorgon Cereal Crispy Treats

Made with the Stranger Things cereal from Target. This cereal was delicious on it’s own, but absolutely perfect in crispy treats!! It tastes like Honey Combs meets Lucky Charms.

Black Serving Tray

This is my favorite snack board tray. I own it in both black and white and it is the perfect size for these awesome boards.

🧲 How I Built the Board

I always build my boards visually. This layout works well for balanced color and height.

  1. Place the largest items first. I started with the Surfer Boy Pizza and the waffles.
  2. Add medium sized items. The Hellfire Club Totino’s Pizza Rolls, Chips Ahoy cookies, and Doritos help fill the center.
  3. Push popcorn into the remaining spaces. Popcorn instantly makes the board feel full.
  4. Add the Scoops Ahoy Demogorgon Sundae on top. This creates height and becomes the main focal point.
  5. Finish with the Demogorgon crispy treats. Place them wherever you want more color or texture.

This entire Stranger Things snack board took only a few minutes to assemble. The end result looks dramatic, themed, and perfect for a cozy night in.
