Ready to launch your brunch game into hyperspace? Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a late-bloomer like me, this Star Wars brunch board will make your next movie marathon feel truly out of this galaxy. I didn’t grow up on Star Wars…actually, I tried watching as a kid and just didn’t get it. Fast forward to adulthood and a marriage to a full-blown Jedi (okay, he’s a Return of the Jedi loyalist) and now I’m hooked. Revenge of the Sith? Cinematic gold. No notes. Don’t @ me.

Every year, my husband and I do a full Star Wars rewatch. It’s tradition. And honestly? That’s what inspired this epic Star Wars brunch board: a spread that captures the heart of the saga and brings it to your breakfast table, whether you’re team OG trilogy, team Disney or proudly flying your prequel flag.

What’s on My Star Wars Brunch Board

Millennium Falcon-shaped egg on avocado toast made with sourdough bread for a Star Wars breakfast.

This isn’t just a snack board. It’s a full-on brunch battle station, featuring references from across the saga:

1. Millennium Falcon Avocado Toast
Star Wars meets avocado toast, because even Han Solo needs good carbs.
I use fresh sourdough from Miss Monica’s Sourdough (local legend), but any good bakery loaf works. Top with mashed avocado, salt, olive oil, and an egg cooked right in a Millennium Falcon silicone mold. Pro tip: If you’ve never tried grass-fed butter, now’s the time. Costco sells it, it’s pricey, but you’ll feel like royalty.

How to cook the Millennium Falcon egg:

  • Grease the mold well, preheat in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the egg and let it sit for a minute.
  • Add a splash of water to the pan, cover, and steam for 3–4 minutes.
  • Let it rest, then gently pop it out. If you nail the shape, you get full Jedi credits.

2. Beep Blop Boop Parfait
R2D2 yogurt parfaits – layer vanilla yogurt, blueberries, and granola in a jar.
Top with a white chocolate R2D2, made using those silicone molds and either white chocolate melts or almond bark. No coloring, just classic white – R2 wouldn’t have it any other way.

3. Morning Portions (Cereal + Blue Milk)
This one’s a gag for true fans. Remember Rey’s weird portion packets on Jakku?
I made mini “Morning Portions” labels and stuck them to cereal boxes using these printable sticker sheets. I have attached the file below so you can make them too. To save the file on mobile, hold down the picture and save, to save on desktop, right click the photo and save. Add a little blue food coloring to milk in a glass jar for that instantly recognizable “blue milk” moment. Not a recipe – just a fun wink to the movies. (If you want real blue milk, add a splash of blue spirulina or blueberry syrup to your milk and enjoy.)

4. Hyperspace Donuts
Store-bought cake donuts, dipped in a galaxy glaze, topped with white chocolate X-wings (again, shoutout to the Star Wars silicone molds I am determined to use every single one in the set 🙂 ).
How to make the galaxy glaze:

  • Mix 1 cup powdered sugar, 2–3 teaspoons milk, and a few drops of navy blue gel food coloring.
  • Stir to combine. Dip the donuts, let the excess drip off, and add the chocolate X-wings on top.
  • They look like they just did the Kessel Run, no Millennium Falcon required.

5. Lightsaber Fruit Skewers
Green grapes and raspberries threaded onto a skewer, finished with printable lightsaber handles. Kids love these. Grown-ups eat three and call it “fruit salad.”

6. Leia’s Buns
Cinnamon rolls = Leia’s iconic hair.
I grabbed some incredible sourdough cinnamon rolls from Miss Monica’s, but any homemade or canned rolls work. Place them front and center and let everyone argue about which Leia hairstyle reigns supreme.

7. Vader’s Taters
Hash brown rounds, air-fried until crispy. I call them “Vader’s Taters” because they’re dark, crispy, and just a little bit dangerous. Use any potato side you like – tater tots, breakfast potatoes, or hash browns – they all work!

8. Chew-Bacon and Jar Jar Links
Bacon for Chewbacca, sausage links for Jar Jar Binks.
Arrange them together on a plate and add punny labels for bonus laughs. Chew-Bacon is always the first to go…Wookiee appetite, you know?

9. Lightsaber Mimosas
The showstopper!
Fill one glass with sparkling wine and a splash of cranberry juice (red saber). Fill another with sparkling wine and a splash of blue curaçao (blue saber). Use light-up lightsaber chopsticks as stirrers. For a non-alcoholic version, sub sparkling water and use non-alcoholic blue curaçao (yes, it exists, you can find it at your local Total Wine or BevMo).

How to Build a Star Wars Brunch Board: Tips for Maximum Impact

Want your brunch to look like it belongs in a galaxy far, far away? Here’s how to make it happen:

  • Vary the Heights: Put tall drinks and parfaits toward the back so nothing gets lost in hyperspace.
  • Create Focal Points: Let one dish steal the show (here, Millennium Falcon toast and Hyperspace Donuts get the hero treatment).
  • Fill in the Gaps: Use fruit sabers and mini cinnamon rolls to plug empty spots, like a droid patching up the Millennium Falcon.
  • Keep it Practical: You don’t need to hand-bake everything, use store-bought donuts, cinnamon rolls, and potatoes if that makes your morning easier.
  • Add Signs & Labels: Puns, character names, and Star Wars fonts turn regular breakfast into a full-blown themed experience (and make it 100x more Instagrammable)

You can find the food labels used for this board right here — they work best when they are printed on a 5×7 photo paper. To save on mobile, hold down this photo and hit save – to save on desktop, right click and hit save.
