These Aurora crown pop tarts are made from refrigerated pie crust cut into crown shapes using a printed template, filled with strawberry jam, crimped shut, and baked until golden. They are easy, adorable, and completely on theme for a Sleeping Beauty brunch or Disney princess party. Optional pink or yellow glaze takes them over the top.

Ingredients
2refrigerated pie crustsor one package containing two sheets
½cupstrawberry jam
1eggbeaten (for egg wash)
Powdered sugar and milk for optional glaze
Pink and yellow food coloringoptional, for glaze
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Find or print an image of Aurora's crown and cut it out to use as a template.
Roll out your pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Use the crown template and a small sharp knife or pastry wheel to cut out as many crown shapes as possible. You will need two matching crowns per pop tart.
Place half of the cut crowns onto the prepared baking sheet.
Spoon approximately 1 to 1½ teaspoons of strawberry jam into the center of each bottom crown, leaving a border around the edges clear.
Place a matching crown piece on top of each filled crown. Use a fork to press and crimp all edges together firmly to seal.
Brush the tops lightly with egg wash.
Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, until golden and cooked through.
Allow to cool completely before glazing if desired. For a simple glaze, mix powdered sugar with just enough milk to reach a drizzle consistency, then tint pink or yellow with a small drop of food coloring.
These are very forgiving. If your crown edges crack a little while crimping, just press them back together and the egg wash will hold them. The jam bubbles up slightly and looks intentional.
